Georg Hoffinger

Georg Hoffinger (born September 25, 1941 in Großebersdorf ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and businessman. From 1983 to 1998 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

Hoffinger attended a commercial school after primary and secondary school and then worked as a businessman in his parents' company. In 1966 he took over his parents' business, and from 1970 he became a local councilor in Großebersdorf. In 1971 he took over the office of mayor, which he held until 1988. Hoffinger was also active in various chamber functions and held the office of Vice President of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce from 1998 to 1999. Hoffinger represented the ÖVP between November 4, 1983 and April 16, 1998 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
