Georg Lehmacher

Georg Lehmacher (born March 13, 1962 in Stuttgart ) is a German writer , designer and paramedic .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1981 and doing community service as a paramedic for the Bavarian Red Cross , he studied communication design in Augsburg . His civil service time shaped him so strongly that he still works as a volunteer paramedic today . After working in advertising agencies, he founded a design office in 1993. He has also been a writer since 1996. He is married and has three children. Since 2001 Georg Lehmacher has also been a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences / Augsburg in the architecture department. Since 2015 Georg Lehmacher, who acquired a flight license in 2002, has also been a volunteer pilot with the Bavarian Air Rescue Unit , where he a. Conducts aerial observation flights to prevent forest fires.

Artistic creation

In 1996 Georg Lehmacher published gift books for the first time together with his wife Renate. In the course of his work he also developed into a storyteller “about everyday miracles”. In his most recent title, he processes his experiences from the emergency medical services in a literary way. His books were sold a total of 1.5 million times.
