Georg Leiste (born April 10, 1964 in Waldshut ) is a German comedian , comedy acrobat and clown .

Life

Leiste grew up in Munich , where he attended the Rudolf Steiner School. In 1974 he worked in Munich in the theater production " Momo " under the direction of Hanna Schygulla . At the 1977 theater festival in Munich, he appeared publicly on the high wire for the first time. 1979–1980 Georg Leiste played the “ Lanzelot Gobo ” in the “ Kaufmann von Venice ” and appeared as “ Sancho Pansa ” with the Munich Philharmonic. During this time, he received the award for the best young clown at the Munich Theater Festival. 1981–84 Georg Leiste began training at the “ Scuola Teatro Dimitri ” clown school , Switzerland / Ti. Immediately afterwards he toured with the international clown troupe "Compagnia Teatro Paravento “through Europe and overseas.

Leiste founded the comedian duo "Tébé & Leiste" in 1989 together with his partner Thomas Bruchhäuser . At the same time he founded the comedy duo “Andrioni & Leiste” with Alex Andrioni in 1996 and produced “Komikaze” under the direction of Thomas Bruchhäuser. Solo appearances followed, such as in 2000 in the “Höhner Rockin 'Roncalli” show, “30 Years of Höhner” in the Kölnarena and in 2004 “Minsche fiere Emotionen”. In 2003 Georg Leiste took part in a production of the “Young Symphony Cologne”, in which he realized Mussorgsky's “Pictures at an Exhibition” in a pantomime-comedic manner. In 2004 he performed a parody of Luciano Pavarotti in Harald Wohlfahrt's “Palazzo” dinner theater in Hamburg. In the same year, Leiste was engaged again for the new Höhner Rockin Roncalli show "Sing Sala Bim" in December 2004 in Cologne. In 2006 he performed with Witzigmann - Roncalli - Bajazz o. In 2007 he had an appearance at the spring cooking with TV chef Ralf Zacherl and in 2008 with Guildo Horn on the occasion of the anniversary show "35 Years of Höhner" in Cologne's Lanxess Arena in front of approx. 20,000 spectators. He received an engagement as part of the first dinner show of the Circus Flic Flac in Saarbrücken.

In 2010 he took part in the Media Markt - Circus of Values ​​Tour. 33 day events were held in 7 major German cities. Georg Leiste directed work in 2010 for "Die Blechharmoniker", who designed a Christmas program for the Christmas market at Cologne Cathedral.

In January 2011 Georg Leiste traveled to Beijing for the Chinese New Year celebrations to take part in a television show as part of the humor festival.
