Georg Nauheim
Georg Wilhelm Nauheim (born April 3, 1871 in Essen ; † July 28, 1930 there ) was a German politician ( German Center Party ).
Live and act
After attending a Catholic elementary school and the higher middle school (later Humboldt Realschule, today's Frida Levy Comprehensive School ) in Essen, Nauheim learned the bakery and confectionery trade . In between he did his military service as a one-year volunteer with the Queen Augusta Guard Grenadier Regiment No. 4 .
In 1897 Nauheim took over his parents' business, which he ran as a master baker until at least 1928 and developed it into a large-scale bakery.
First political experiences gained Nauheim at the local level: in 1915 he was for the Catholic Center Party town councilor in Essen, which he constantly remained until his death. In 1923 he took over the chairmanship of the center faction in the city council. In addition, he was a leader in professional organizations and commercial cooperatives.
In May 1928 he was elected as a candidate for the center in the Reichstag , of which he was a member until his death in July 1930. He represented constituency 23 (Düsseldorf West). He resigned from the office of group leader.
Georg Nauheim was buried in the Segeroth cemetery .
