Georg Süss-Fink

Georg Süss-Fink (born May 21, 1950 in Neustadt an der Waldnaab ) is a German chemist.

life and work

Georg Süss-Fink completed his dissertation at the Technical University of Munich in Max Herberhold's group and received his doctorate in 1977. After a postdoctoral stay at the University of Cambridge , he completed his habilitation in inorganic chemistry at the University of Bayreuth in 1983 .

After academic positions at the University of Rennes I , the University of Bayreuth and the Technical University of Aachen , he accepted a position at the Université de Neuchâtel in Switzerland in 1988 . In 2014 he received both German and Swiss citizenship.

His scientific focus is on organometallic chemistry and catalysis . His scientific work includes more than 370 publications.

Since 2010 Georg Süss-Fink has also been active as a writer, who in his novels thematizes the lifestyle of the sixties and seventies.
