Georg Seeler

Georg Seeler (born October 17, 1895 in Hademarschen , † May 1979 in Neumünster ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After the Second World War, Seeler lived in Ahrensburg , where he was headmaster at the Schloss Ahrensburg elementary school. In 1950 he moved to Neumünster, where he became the city school council and held this office until his death. Before 1933 he was active in the SPD and SAP, the Socialist Workers 'Party , chairman of the local SAP association Hamburg-Altona and Hamburg regional association chairman of the general free teachers' union. In 1933 he was dismissed as a teacher on the basis of Section 4 of the Professional Civil Service Act. After 1945 he was second chairman of the Stormarn district association of the SPD. He belonged to the first and second appointed Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein .
