Georg Wilhelm Clarus

Georg Wilhelm Clarus (born February 7, 1779 in Frankfurt am Main ; † January 5, 1860 ) was a politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Georg Wilhelm Clarus was a merchant in Frankfurt am Main. From 1821 to 1847 he was a member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt as a council relative and from 1847 to 1860 as a senator . He was a member of the Legislative Body from 1817 to 1856 and of the Permanent Citizens' Representation from 1817 to 1821. From 1821 to 1823 he was a member of the Seniors Council and from 1818 to 1821 of the city accounting auditing college.
