Adan Canto
Adan Canto (born December 5, 1981 in Ciudad Acuña , Mexico ) is a Mexican actor who primarily played the role of Sunspot in the 3D action film X-Men: Future is Past and his role as Paul Torres in the Fox drama Series The Following is known.
biography
At the age of nine, Canto made his debut as an actor in the drama Bittersweet Chocolate (original title: Como agua para chocolate ). In addition to film work, his love also belongs to music, which is also due to his artistically active mother. Already at the age of 16 he performed as a professional singer and has been a member of a Delcanto Jazz Band since 2011, which has many fans in Mexico. On the program are more classical sounds in the style of Frank Sinatra . Canto also wrote and composed his own pieces, including the song Me Cuesta Vivir , which was featured in the 2010 romantic comedy Te presento a Laura .
Canto also appeared in Mexico in a stage adaptation of Pedro Almodovar's Oscar-winning film drama Everything about my mother (originally Todo sobre mi madre ). He played the role of Mario Del Toro. He also appeared in Mexican telenovelas and also acted in several Mexican films. After moving to the United States, he made his debut there in 2013 in the American thriller series The Following alongside Kevin Bacon . The following year, he was a recurring cast on the ABC comedy series Mixology , which tells the story of five men and five women looking for love in a Manhattan bar. In 2014, the short film drama Before Tomorrow was made , for which Canto not only wrote the script, but also directed and appeared himself.
