Georg Wilhelm Hofmann
Georg Wilhelm Hofmann (born October 17, 1846 in Landau in the Palatinate , † March 25, 1923 in Leipzig ) was a German judge.
Life
During his studies in 1864 he became a member of the Christian student union Uttenruthia . Hofmann was sworn in to the Bavarian sovereign in 1868. It was not until 1879 that he was appointed magistrate. In 1883 he became a regional judge and in 1895 a higher regional judge. In 1899 he came to the Imperial Court. He worked as a judge in the 1st Civil Senate . He retired in 1913.

He had been married to a granddaughter of Paul Wolfgang Merkel since 1879 .
