Georg Wopfner

Georg Wopfner (* 1870 in Hunding ; † 1933 ) was a Bavarian ministerial advisor.

From 1919 he headed the department for workers' welfare and housing affairs in the Bavarian Ministry of Transport . In his role, he made particular contributions to the construction and maintenance of railway settlements in Munich and other cities in Bavaria.

In memory of Wopfner, the city of Munich named a street in the Freimann district after him.
