Georg Zehle

Georg Zehle (born September 21, 1882 in Magdeburg ; † February 12, 1945 there ) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

Zehle attended the Domgymnasium Magdeburg and then studied law in Berlin and Halle. From October 1905 he did his military service as a one-year volunteer . He was a trainee lawyer in Magdeburg before completing his studies with the second state examination and the doctorate to become Dr. jur. completed. He then worked as a lawyer and notary in Magdeburg. From 1914 to 1916 he did military service in World War I and retired as captain of the reserve. He was also a member of the Magdeburg Masonic Lodge Harpokrates and at times its master of the chair .

politics

He joined the DVP and was chairman of his party in Magdeburg. From March 12, 1919 to December 31, 1925 and again March 30 to December 31, 1930 he was a city councilor in Magdeburg. In 1928 he was an unpaid city councilor in Magdeburg.

From 1926 to 1927 and again from 1930 to 1931 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Saxony and from 1925 to 1933 the Provincial Committee. The Provincial Parliament elected him from January 22, 1929 to January 1930 as a deputy and from January 1930 to April 1933 as a full member of the Prussian State Council . In the State Council he was January to April 1933 chairman of the economic committee.
