Georg von Stosch

Georg Friedrich Karl Graf von Stosch (born June 11, 1866 in Hartau; † October 12, 1914 ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Georg von Stosch studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1886 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After studying and traineeship, he joined the Prussian civil service as a government assessor. In 1896 he became the district administrator of the district Militsch appointed. In 1907 he came to the Opole government as a senior councilor and in the same year switched to the Silesian Provincial Fire Society as a provisional officer. In 1909 he returned as the senior civil servant and deputy district president back to Opole government.

At the beginning of the First World War, von Stosch moved in on foot as a reserve captain in the 1st Guard Regiment . He fell on October 12, 1914. He was married to Lilly von Eichmann (born August 9, 1869), a daughter of the diplomat Friedrich von Eichmann .
