Georg von Walthausen (born May 19, 1895 in Unna-Königsborn , † January 4, 1978 in Düsseldorf ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary and secondary school in Hanover . From September 1914 to March 1915 he took part in the First World War as a war volunteer with the Uhlan Regiment 13 in Hanover . From March 1915 to March 1918 he was in Russian (?) Captivity. After his release he took part in the war again from late May 1918 to November 1918. In the period from January to December 1919, he participated with the Freikorps Epp and Freikorps Lüttwitz in the civil war-like conflicts in post-war Germany.

From 1920 to 1932 von Walthausen worked in the automotive industry. In 1930 he joined the NSDAP. In the Sturmabteilung (SA) he initially took over the post of a group relay leader of the SA group north-west. In 1934 he was transferred to East Prussia as leader of the motor brigade . On December 25, 1934 he was promoted to SA group leader.

On the Reichstag election proposal of March 29, 1936, he successfully ran in his function as group leader of the National Socialist Motor Vehicle Corps (NSKK) in Königsberg (Prussia) , Herzog-Albrecht-Platz 8. From this point on, von Walthausen was a member of parliament for constituency 1 (East Prussia) in the National Socialist Reichstag . On September 30, 1938, he resigned from his mandate.
