George Adams (born October 16, 1926 in Falkirk , † July 2011 in Wandsworth ) was a Scottish football player .
Career
Adams finished second with Chelmsford City in the 1948/49 season in the Southern Football League before he was brought into the Football League Third Division by Leyton Orient in the summer of 1949 . There he had to wait until March 1950 for his competitive game debut, the use against the AFC Newport County followed by the end of the season three more on the position of the right outer runner . After just one year at Leyton Orient, he returned to the Southern League and joined Bath City there, for the club he subsequently played 21 games (7 goals). In March 1954 he was briefly again a club of the Football League , but was only used for the reserve team at Crystal Palace .
