George Bures Miller
George Bures Miller (* 1960 in Vegreville in the province of Alberta ) is a Canadian sound and installation artist and filmmaker .
Miller has worked with his wife, Janet Cardiff , since 1983 , but also alone. Cardiff and Miller live and work in Grindrod, British Columbia , Canada.
In 2001 they exhibited at MoMA PS1 in New York and represented Canada at the Biennale di Venezia . In 2009 the Cardiff / Miller couple presented a 30-minute sound installation entitled The Murder of Crows in the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart . In 2012 they took part in dOCUMENTA (13) .
