George Hawkins (athlete)
George Hawkins , also George Albert Hawkins , (born October 15, 1883 in Tottenham , † September 22, 1917 in Ypres ) was a British sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was fourth in the 200-meter run .
George Hawkins started for the Polytechnic Harriers and was trained by Sam Mussabini . He fell in the Third Battle of Flanders .
