George Souto Maior Wanderley (born September 12, 1996 in João Pessoa , Brazil ) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player .
Career
As a junior, George Wanderley played alongside Arthur Lanci , with whom he became U19 World Champion in Porto in 2014 and U21 World Champion in Lucerne in 2016 . From 2015 to 2017 he played with Jo Gomes and with Thiago mainly at national tournaments. In the summer of 2017, George Wanderley played on the FIVB World Tour with Vitor Felipe , with whom he won the 2-star tournament in Espinho . In 2018 he started with Pedro Solberg . The Brazilians reached the semi-finals at the FIVB 5-star tournament in Fort Lauderdale , where they were defeated by the Italians Nicolai / Lupo . Thiago has been Wanderley's partner again since June 2018.
