Georges Kriéger

Georges Kriéger (* 1885 , † 1916 ) was a French organist and composer.

Kriéger was an organ student of Eugène Gigout , Louis Vierne and Alexandre Guilmant . He worked as a choir organist at the La Madelaine church in Paris. Drafted for military service during the First World War, he fell in 1916. He composed a. a. a toccata and an andante for organ. His Toccata in E minor was recorded by John Scott Whiteley on the CD The romantic organ .
