Georges Wohlfart

Georges Wohlfart (born July 13, 1950 in Helmdingen ; † February 13, 2013 ) was a Luxembourg physician and politician of the LSAP .

Life

Georges Wohlfart, son of the politician Joseph Wohlfart , studied medicine in Liège and established himself as a doctor in Hosingen in 1980 .

Between 1984 and 1989 and from 1999 to 2004 he was a member of the Chambre des Députés . Wohlfart became State Secretary in the Foreign Ministry in 1989 , and finally Minister for Health and Sport in 1998.

Wohlfart lived in Hosingen , was enthusiastic about cycling and, as a trained doctor, worked as a sports medicine specialist on the Tour of Luxembourg .
