Hosingen ( Luxembourgish Housen ) is a town in the Luxembourg municipality of Parc Hosingen . Until the end of 2011, Hosingen was the capital of the municipality of the same name, which belonged to the canton of Clervaux . On January 1, 2012, the municipality of Hosingen was merged with Consthum and Hoscheid to form the municipality of Parc Hosingen.

Transmitter
The Broadcasting Center Europe, a subsidiary of the RTL Group, has been operating a broadcasting system for VHF and TV near Hosingen since 1970 ( location ). A 300 meter high guyed tubular steel mast with a diameter of two meters is used as the antenna carrier. The Hosingen transmission mast is the tallest structure in Luxembourg.

Since the end of 2013, the community has had an adventure pool that was located near the primary school.
In autumn 2011, the Luxembourg army carried out an exercise with drones in the vicinity of Hosingen .
economy
Since 2010, Hosingen has had its own industrial zone - op der Hei. Various companies have settled here, from the beverage retailer Boissons Heintz, the B medical Systems, to some handicraft businesses such as Hermes Daachdesign S.à.rl, Chauffage Barthel SA or Malerbetrieb Peters S.à.rl.
