Georgi Ivanovich Shpak
Georgi Ivanovich Schpak ( Russian Георгий Иванович Шпак ; born September 8, 1943 in Ossipowitschi , Belarusian SSR ) is a Russian officer.
From 1996 to 2003 he was Colonel General Commander in Chief of the Russian Airborne Forces .
From 2004 to 2008 Shpak was governor of Ryazan Oblast as a member of the Just Russia party .
