Georgios Firos ( Greek Γιώργος Φοιρός , born November 8, 1953 in Evosmos ) is a former Greek football player .

Player career

Firos began his career in 1972 with Aris Thessaloniki , for whom he played eight years. In 1980 he then moved to local rivals Iraklis Thessaloniki . After two seasons he ended his active career there.

Internationally, he played 52 times for Greece. Firos played at the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy , where he was used twice.

Coaching career

Firos coached the clubs Olympiakos Nicosia , AO Kerkyra and Thrasyvoulos Fylis after his playing career .
