Gerald Bishop

Gerald Bischof (born October 29, 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and since 2012 district chairman of the 23rd district of Liesing in Vienna .

Life

Gerald Bischof graduated from a commercial college in 1979 . In 1980 he began training as a bank clerk at the Central Savings Bank of the Municipality of Vienna and from 1982 worked in the organization department as an IT systems analyst . In 1990 he moved to the Liesing Adult Education Center and was its director from 1991 to 2004.

Gerald Bischof has one daughter.

Political career

Gerald Bischof was District Councilor Vienna-Liesing from 1987 to 2012 . During this time he was chairman of the culture commission from 1990 to 1995, chairman of the district development commission from 1995 to 2001, chairman of the finance committee from 1995 to 2012 and deputy district chairman from 2001 to 2012 . Since September 2012 he has been district chairman in Vienna-Liesing.

From 2004 to 2012 he was district manager of the SPÖ-Liesing.
