Gerald Domenig
Gerald Domenig (* 1953 in Villach ) is a contemporary Austrian artist (drawings, photographs).
life and work
Domenig studied from 1972 to 1973 at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Rolf Sackenheim and from 1974 to 1978 at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main with Raimer Jochims . In his work he is interested in the relationships between objects as a resolution or construction to the image. In 1984 he was represented at the group exhibition From Here - Two Months of New German Art in Düsseldorf .
In the 2011 summer semester, Gerald Domenig took on a visiting professorship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg .
Domenig currently lives in Frankfurt am Main.
