Gerald Mann (born June 26, 1964 in Berlin ) is a German musician, singer, composer and music teacher.

Live and act

Gerald Mann studied classical singing and piano at the Berlin University of the Arts and popular music at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . He also received singing lessons from Bill Ramsey and guitar lessons from Peter Horton and Peter Weihe . He plays several instruments: piano, keyboard, guitar, bass and drums.

As a child he already appeared as a singer and musician in the ZDF Umschau, his first single Bye, bye, Mama was released. Numerous recordings in the hit and pop area followed. Man kicked u. a. in the Berlin Friedrichstadt-Palast , in the Berlin cabaret Klimperkasten (cabaret artist and composer of various programs) and with the RIAS Big Band . He was u. a. guest on TV shows How Do You Recognize the Melody? , Michael Schanze -Show, Current Schaubude , ZDF Sunday Concert , A Place in the Sun , Schlager Festival in Kerkrade (Netherlands) and was described by the press as an all-rounder. For a long time he synchronized several dolls as a voice actor on NDR Sesame Street. He also worked as an actor. a. in an episode of the "ZDF Spreepiraten" with. As a singer and entertainer, he had numerous appearances at galas and on cruise ships (including the Europa , Berlin , Arkona , Maxim Gorki , Bremen , Hanseatic , Albatros ).

As a singer, composer, arranger and producer, he has released numerous productions over the years for well-known record companies and on his own music label. He received the Günter Neumann Prize in 1985 and was a prize winner in the national singing competition in the same year.

Since 1988 Gerald man at the is Leo Kestenberg Music School (formerly State Music School Tempelhof) as a teacher of singing with a focus on light music business.
