ZDF Sunday concert
The ZDF Sunday concert was a series of the ZDF . The program ran on Sundays at lunchtime and started on January 5, 1969. It ran until March 6, 2005, when ZDF broadcast the last program.
Content of the broadcast
In the first broadcasts of the Sunday concert, mainly productions of classical music were shown, which also managed without moderation. In the spring and summer months there was the series The Sunday Concert - on tour . The first moderators were introduced in these programs, including Martin Hecht, Elke Kast, Jutta Arzt, Rudi Gamper , Sibylle Nicolai, Babette Einstmann. In 1991 Ramona Leiss took over the series, which was then renamed The Sunday Concert. Rudi Gamper took over those programs that were produced in South Tyrol or Austria . In 1994 Christine Maier and Wolfgang Binder replaced them. This led through the show until 1999, when Uta Bresan took over the moderation. Björn Casapietra was hired from 2002 to 2004, after which Inka Bause took over the show from 2004 until it was discontinued in 2005.
