Gerard Davis (born September 25, 1977 ) is a New Zealand soccer player who is currently active for the Glenfield Rovers in his home country. He also played for the New Zealand national soccer team from 2000 to 2003 .

Career

Davis played football at Stanford University in California until 1998 before returning to his home country in 2000 to the Football Kingz . In 2002 he played for one season at the Finnish first division club Tampere United , for which he completed eight games. In 2003 he moved to the Eastern Suburbs in Auckland , in 2005 he played at Waitakere United . In 2006 he finally signed a contract with Glenfield Rovers from Auckland, for which he is still active today.

With the national team of his country Davis won the OFC Nations Cup in 2002. He made his debut in June 2000 against Vanuatu . He made a total of 23 international matches.
