Gerardo Leibner

Gerardo Leibner (* 1965 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan historian who works in Israel .

Life

Leibner received his doctorate from Tel Aviv University and has been a lecturer at the Latin American Sverdlin Institute at the same university since 1999 . His research areas include the political and social history of Peru , the history of modern political ideas in Latin America, and the social and cultural dimensions of political movements .
