Gerats is a district of the municipality of Rettenberg in the Oberallgäu district in Bavaria .

The wasteland is about 8.5 kilometers northeast of the main town at an altitude of 857 meters. It can be accessed via a cul-de-sac from Rieder .

Not far from the village, the Kranzegger Bach and the Geratser Ach flow together, with the Kranzegger Bach falling over a wall about six meters high.
