Gerbert Hübsch

Gerbert Hübsch (born March 13, 1939 in Dresden ) was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice from 1989 to 2004 .

Hübsch began his legal career in 1969 as a court assessor in Hessen . In 1970 he became a judge at the Frankfurt am Main district court , and in 1973 he was a judge at the Frankfurt am Main Higher Regional Court . From 1975 to 1977 he was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant and from 1977 to 1979 to the Federal Constitutional Court.

On April 4, 1989, Hübsch was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice. Until his retirement on March 31, 2004, he was a member of the 8th Civil Senate , since April 2000 as its deputy chairman.
