Gerd B. Achenbach

Gerd B. Achenbach (bourgeois Gerd Böttcher , born February 11, 1947 in Hameln ) is a German philosopher and founder of the first philosophical practice .

Life

Gerd B. Achenbach received his doctorate in 1981 when Gerd Böttcher, at the University of Giessen in Odo Marquard with a thesis on self-realization - or ". Achenbach founded the " International Society for Philosophical Practice " (IGPP) in 1982 , of which he was chairman until autumn 2003. Achenbach works as a teaching practitioner at the IGPP. In 2003 he founded the regional "Society for Philosophical Practice" in Bergisch Gladbach , of which he has been chairman ever since.

Achenbach taught as a lecturer at the University of Klagenfurt, at the Lessing University in Meran and Berlin and at the North Sea Academy in Leck (where he helps shape the annual summer academy).
