Gerd Höhler

Gerd Höhler (* 1949 in Wuppertal ) is a German journalist .

Höhler studied journalism , German and sociology in Münster and Cologne .

He began his professional career as a reporter, editor and presenter at Westdeutscher Rundfunk . From 1977 he worked as a correspondent in the WDR capital studio in Bonn.

Höhler has lived in Athens since 1979 . He works as a correspondent for Greece, Turkey and Cyprus for several German daily newspapers, including the Tagesspiegel and the Handelsblatt ; until 2013 he was also a correspondent for the Stuttgarter Zeitung .
