Gerd Koerber

Gerd Körber (born May 24, 1963 in Helmlingen ) is a German truck racing driver and three-time European truck racing champion .

Motorsport career

His greatest successes include the German runner-up in the German Junior Kart Championship and three titles as European Truck Racing Champion (1991, 2002 and 2003).

Truck racing

Mr. Truckrace or Mr. Truckracing , as he is called by his fans, has been driving racing trucks in the Truck Racing European Championship , back then still the Truck Racing European Cup , since 1987 ( MAN in Class B) .

His greatest successes in truck racing include:

• 1989: Vice European Champion in the Truck Racing European Cup ( MAN )
• 1990: 3rd place in the Truck Racing European Cup , class C (Phoenix- MAN )
• 1991: European Champion in Truck Racing European Cup , Class C (Phoenix- MAN )
• 1992: Vice European champion in the Truck Racing European Cup , class C in the Phoenix- MAN
• 1996: Vice European Champion in the Truck Racing European Cup in the Super Race Truck class ( MAN )
• 2000: 3rd place in the Truck Racing European Cup in the Super Race Truck class ( MAN )
• 2002: European champion in the truck racing European cup in the super race truck class (Buggyra MK 002)
• 2003: (Double) European Champion in the Truck Racing European Cup in the Super Race Truck class (Buggyra MK 002 / B)
• 2003: 3rd place in the Truck Racing European Cup in the Race Truck class (Buggyra Freightliner )
• 2006 : Vice European Champion of the European Truck Racing Championship
• 2007 : 5th place in the drivers' championship
• 2015 : 9th place in the drivers' championship
• 2016 : 8th place in the drivers' championship
• 2017 : 7th place in the drivers' championship

In addition to his work as a truck racing driver , Gerd Körber is Managing Director of Bickel-Tec GmbH, a vehicle construction and paint shop in Rheinau in Baden .
