Gerhard Biller (basketball player)

Gerhard Biller is a former German national basketball player .

career

With the Heidelberg gymnastics club, Biller was second in the German championship in 1957 and 1958 and had to  admit defeat to the neighboring club USC Heidelberg .

Biller was among other things in 1957 and 1961 to the squad of the German national team and participated with the selection in the qualifying games for the European championships.

Biller's wife Maria (maiden name Nagy), who was born in Hungary , was also a basketball player and won the German championship five times with Heidelberger TV between 1957 and 1963. Their son Matthias played for USC Heidelberg in the 2nd basketball division .
