Gerhard Fuchs (cook)

Gerhard Fuchs (born April 24, 1971 in Wels ) is an Austrian chef.

Career

After training at the "Hotel Management School" in Bad Ischl and at the "Hotel Rosenberger" in Wels, Fuchs went to the "Altwienerhof" in Vienna . In 1992 he became head chef at the "Restaurant A la carte" in Klagenfurt . After further positions he was head chef in the "Saziani Stuben" in Straden in 2002 .

From September 2006 to November 2013 he was head chef and patron of the "Kreuzwirt am Pössnitzberg" in Leutschach , where he has been awarded a Michelin star and 18 Gault Millau points since 2010 . In September 2014 the cookbook "Meine Südsteiermark " was published by Styria Pichler Verlag .

Since October 2014, Fuchs has been cooking in his own restaurant Die Weinbank in Ehrenhausen .
