Gerhard Herdegen
Gerhard Karl Herdegen (born September 30, 1926 in Schwarzenbach am Wald ; † December 23, 2014 in Linkenheim-Hochstetten ) was a German legal scholar and presiding judge at the Federal Court of Justice .
Live and act
After studying law, he was a public prosecutor from 1959 . From 1963 he was a judge at the district court in Hof and from 1968 senior public prosecutor at the higher regional court in Bamberg . In December 1972 he was appointed as a judge at the Federal Court of Justice, there in April 1982 presiding judge of the 1st criminal division and 1985 presiding judge of the 2nd criminal division. He retired in September 1991.
Herdegen also worked as an author in the Leipzig Commentary on the Criminal Code and the Karlsruhe Commentary on the Code of Criminal Procedure .
