Gerhard Mauer

Gerhard Mauer (born February 25, 1935 in Berlin-Schöneberg ) is a former German district administrator .

Life

Gerhard Mauer studied law in Tübingen and Berlin. In 1959 he passed the first and in 1963 the second state examination in law. His professional career began in 1963 as a government assessor at the Nürtingen district office . In 1966 he went to the Tübingen regional council as a councilor or senior councilor . From 1970 to 1971 Gerhard Mauer was the first state official at the Freudenstadt district office. Due to the upcoming district reform , he headed the district office from 1971 to 1972 as administrative administrator . When the new Freudenstadt district was formed on January 1, 1973, he was elected district administrator. He held this position until 2000.
