Gerhard Meiß
Gerhard Meiß (born July 9, 1916 in Kinzweiler ; † October 27, 1981 in Eschweiler ) was a German politician.
Meiß was mayor from 1948 to 1961 and from 1961 to 1971 deputy mayor of the municipality of Kinzweiler in the district of Aachen . At the same time he was from 1959 to 1964 in the district council and from 1969 to 1971 SPD parliamentary group chairman . After the reunification of the community of Kinzweiler in the city of Eschweiler , he was a member of the city council from 1972 to 1979 .
