Gerhard Rösch (textile engineer)

Gerhard Rösch (* 1907 ; † 1982 in Tübingen ) was a German textile engineer.

Career

Rösch founded Gerhard Rösch GmbH in Tübingen-Bühl in 1949 . At that time, Gerhard Rösch GmbH was specialized in the production of nylon underwear and polo shirts. In 1956 the subsidiary "rökona Textilwerk GmbH" was founded. In his day, Gerhard Rösch took on the pioneering role in the introduction of family-friendly measures, which he introduced in his company in Germany and which has shaped the corporate philosophy to this day. The group is in the third generation (2011) in family ownership. The turnover of Gerhard Rösch GmbH in 2010 was 18.7 million euros. In 2009 there were 626 employees.
