Gerhard R. Steinhäuser

Gerhard Rudolf Steinhäuser (born September 1920 in Brno , Czechoslovakia ; died September 1989 ) was a German writer.

Life

Steinhäuser studied law, prehistory and natural science in Brno and then worked as an editor for the Tyrolean daily newspaper and as a freelance journalist. He has been a freelance writer since 1969. In addition to the science-fiction novel, Enterprise Hour Zero , in which he describes the fate of six people in the destroyed world after a global catastrophe, he is mainly known for a series of speculative books on pre-astronautics , ufology and the like, published from 1971 onwards . which are to be seen in connection with the interest in such subjects triggered by the writings of Erich von Däniken .
