Gerhard Vescovi

Gerhard Vescovi (* 1922 ; † 1998 ) was a German doctor, writer, poet and translator .

Gerhard Vescovi studied medicine in Würzburg and Gießen. He ran a radiological practice in Böblingen and returned to Würzburg in 1982 as a pensioner.

Vescovi was a founding member of the Federal Association of German Writers and Doctors and for many years Vice President of the international association of medical writers . The radiologist became known to a wide audience through his biographies and novels, including Hippocrates in Heckengäu. Notes from a Swabian country doctor and the heart looks different .
