Gerhard Weidenhammer (born August 1, 1947 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The defender Gerhard Weidenhammer began his career with the second division club SC Herford , where he made his debut on August 14, 1976 in the 3-1 victory of Herford against SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the course of the season he only made five appearances and at the end of the season he switched to Bünder SV , with whom he qualified for the newly created Oberliga Westfalen a year later .
