Dieter Suchanek (born September 7, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Dieter Suchanek began his career at Spandauer SV in Berlin and made his debut in the 1970/71 season in the regional league team . In the summer of 1974 he moved to VfL Wolfsburg , which was accepted into the newly created 2nd Bundesliga . With the "Wolves" Suchanek rose in 1975 and rose again in the following season before joining the second division club SC Herford . A year later he switched to SG Union Solingen . In 1980 Suchanek played a year for the San Diego Sockers in the North American Soccer League before returning to Rot-Weiss Essen in the 2nd Bundesliga for the 1981/82 season. In the summer of 1982 he left Essen with an unknown destination. Dieter Suchanek played a total of 119 second division games and scored two goals.

Suchanek Rot-Weiß Oberhausen trained in the 1988/89 season . During the 2001/02 season he coached the second team of MSV Duisburg .
