bailiff

Bailiff (abbreviation: GV ; in Austria also: executor ; in Switzerland: debt enforcement officer ) is the professional title for a person who is entrusted with the execution of foreclosures . In most states, they are judicial officers. In Lithuania , for example, however, it is a free profession that is organized in a manner similar to that of the notary .
