Gerlis Zillgens (* in Rheydt ) is a German author .

Life

Gerlis Zillgens lives and works as a freelance writer in Cologne . In addition to novels and short stories for adults, she writes books for children and young people for various publishers, which have been translated into Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Lithuanian, Greek, Turkish, Korean and Russian. She also writes columns for the satirical side The Truth of the TAZ . She also appears frequently as a reader at literature festivals, in libraries and in schools.
