Gernot rattles
Walter Felix Gernot Krasselt (born August 9, 1950 in Breitenau ) is a German politician ( CDU ) who was a member of the Saxon state parliament between 2009 and 2019 .
Life
After completing his Abitur at the EOS in Flöha and completing his military service, Krasselt studied mathematics at the Bergakademie Freiberg from 1971 to 1975 . He then worked as a technologist at VEB Vliestextilien Lößnitztal until 1990 .
Krasselt is an Evangelical Lutheran, married and has three children.

Krasselt has been a member of the CDU since 1990. From 1990 to 2008 he was the full-time mayor of Oederan , where he is also a member of the local executive committee of the CDU. He has been a member of the Freiberg District Council since 1994 and has been a member of the newly formed Central Saxony district since 2008 . In the state elections in 2009 he succeeded as a direct candidate in the constituency Freiberg 1 with a share of the vote of 47.0% in the Saxon state parliament. He was a member of the Budget and Finance Committee and the Social Affairs and Consumer Protection Committee. In addition, he was the church and disability policy spokesman for his group.
