Gero Bühler

Gero Bühler (* 1968 ) is a German psychiatrist and author .

Life

Gero Bühler studied human medicine at the University of Leipzig . In 1998 he received his doctorate with a thesis on medical studies in the Soviet occupation zone and the GDR . He then took up further medical training as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist and, in addition to being a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, also acquired the qualification “basic addiction medicine” . Since 2008 he has been working as a senior physician in Ingolstadt , where he a. the treatment of addictions .

Bühler works as a member of the Addiction Working Group of the psychosocial working groups of the city of Ingolstadt and the district of Eichstätt .

In addition to his medical work, he is also active in literature and has published several volumes of prose and poetry . He is a member of the Federal Association of German Writers and Doctors .
