Gert Jõeäär (born July 9, 1987 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian road cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2008 Gert Jõeäär was Estonian U23 champion in the individual time trial . In 2011 and 2012 he won a stage of the Ronde de l'Oise and in 2012 the one-day race Paris-Chauny . In 2013 he won the Tour of Estonia and in 2014 the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen race . In 2017 he decided a stage of the Tour of Estonia and in 2018 the prologue of the Baltic Chain Tour for himself.

Up to and including 2019, Jõeäär won a total of six titles as Estonian champion and took second and third places in road races and in the individual time trial several times. He has been without a team contract since 2016, but continues to compete, mainly in his home country and neighboring countries.
