Gertrude Case Buehring

Gertrude Case Buehring (* on 28. May 1940 in Chicago , Illinois as Gertrude Case ) is an American microbiologist and virologist . She teaches at the University of California .

Vita

She graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in biology in 1962. She received her PhD in genetics from the University of California , Berkeley, from 1972 . In particular, she researches the causes of breast cancer and the virology of tumors .

She speaks English and German. She has daughters Anna and Jessica with her husband, William Richard Buehring, who has since passed away.
