Beverages Geins is a beverage wholesaler based in Passau and is one of the ten largest beverage wholesalers in Germany.
history
The company was originally founded in 1868 by Georg Michael Geins, at that time as a liqueur, vinegar and mineral water factory. In 1934 the bottling of lemonades was started with automatic machines, in 1937 the first drinks were delivered. The first beverage-geins pick-up market was opened in Passau in 1979, the production of lemonade and mineral water ceased in 1981. From 1990 branches were opened in Hainichen , Regensburg , Teising , Nuremberg and Schwabach .

Beverages Geins is a family-run trading company for the distribution of all kinds of beverages (range of around 5000 items). The group of companies operates over 100 trucks and 50 forklifts. Beverages Geins operates beverage retailers and beverage wholesalers with a focus on catering, hotel and retail supply and offers beverage-related services as a supplement. The company includes the beverage collection chain bilgro with 120 stores.
